Summer Tournament

As you are aware we are trying to get the boys involved in a football tournament and I had pencilled in Pontins for next year.As it is nothing has been booked yet as we have a couple of other ideas in the pipeline and we will make a decision in January.

MAGS Night

Thank you very much Elaine Semple and Lee Shanks for organising the Mums and Grans night,a great night was had by all and the girls raised almost £300.00 for our club funds,Well Done.

Training

Training will be on from 4-5 on Friday,we won't be training again until Tuesday 29th ,will post the time next week.

Training/Bowling

Training will be on from 4-5 on Friday ,the boys can then go and get spruced up and back down to THE GARAGE for 6pm sharp for 10 pin Bowling.When they arrive at THE GARAGE they can place their food order and it will be brought down to the bowling area.

Game on Saturday

We are playing Caley youth from Prestwick on Saturday at Caley park in Prestwick .Can everyone be there for 9.30 for a 9.45 kick off please.Red and Black strips.

Mums and Grans night

Elaine has asked if everyone can be at the Broomhill for 6.30 on Thursday night,she would also thank everyone for their generosity with their raffle prize donations,hope you all have a great night.

Boys on tour

We are hoping to take the boys away to a football tournament next May hopefully to Pontins in Southport,we are at an early stage of planning at the moment but would require all of the boys to go accompanied by at least one parent if possible.
The cost of the trip for the boys would be paid for by the club and we would hopefully be able to cover some of the cost of the first parent .
We would love to have all the kids and their families there however the club can only fund the players and first parent.
The weekend we are looking at is Fri May 22nd till Mon 25th May,the Monday is a school holiday but the Friday is not and therefore require a day off school.
Next year may be the last year that they are all together  as we will be going 11a side in Spring 2016 so hopefully this trip would give the boys a weekend to remember for the rest of their lives.
Could I ask for one parent to attend a meeting on Friday at 5.30 at Bonnyton to give you some more information and answer any of your questions.

Socks

If the boys are in need of any socks can you please let me know by text or see me on Friday and we will get some new ones for them.

MAGS Night

No game on Saturday

I'm afraid we have no game this weekend,it was our home game but the 2003s who we share the pitch with had already arranged their game.I did try to change it to Stewarton but they were in the same position ,we then tried for Sunday but they could not manage to get 2 teams so we decided to call it off and try to re arrange for the October holidays.

Fees

At the moment some of you pay by standing order and some pay cash every 4 weeks or monthly,it is proving a bit difficult to keep track of as people are paying on different days of the month and different amounts .On Friday at training I will be giving everyone a mandate to sign and hand in to their bank for £22.00 to come off their accounts on the 1st of every month,once everyone's September standing order is paid can everyone cancel their current setup and start the new one from the 1st October.the people who pay their fees by cash can pay their money to me on Friday please and from then on everyone will be standing order.

I've been trying to find out where and when we are playing on Saturday but still have no news,as soon as I hear anything I will text you all and post details on the blog.

At long last the Date for the race night has been confirmed. It will take place on Sat 27th September in the Kay Park Tavern with a 7.30 start,tickets will cost £3each and will be available soon,we will sell tickets to the parents first and remaining tickets will be sold after that,we are looking for a good turn out from the parents as all money raised will go to our club funds.More information will follow in the next week or two.

Bonnyton Fun Day

Hi folks,jut a wee update.
The fun day will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and all age groups of the boys club will be there,we will be playing against the 2003s and possibly the 2005s,details are a bit sketchy at the moment,if you can get the boys there for 10.30 with Red And Black strips on and footwear for AstroTurf and grass
There will be a burger van,ice cream van,kiddies fairground rides,bouncy castle etc ,there will also be a beat the goalie and a crossbar challenge,the weather is looking good at the moment so it should be a good day.

Kilwinning tourney

A big well done to all the boys today in terrible conditions,out of the 10 games played
they only suffered one defeat .The boys behaviour off the pitch was also first class and
they represented their boys club very well.The boys also won a Fair Play trophy which

Kilwinning tourney

The tournament will take place at the Kilwinning Sports Club on Saturday,can all the boys wear there Red and Black Strips but also bring their white tops as well.The games will be on AstroTurf  and grass .The competition is a bit drawn out with our first game at 10.25 and our last game at 3.25 with a total of 5 games altogether,could the boys bring enough food and drink and suitable clothing to get them through the day.Can the parents make sure the boys are there for 9.45 please.

We have been invited to the Kilwinning football tournament on Sat August 2nd,can you let me know tonight if you are available for that Saturday as we may go with one team if we don't have enough players.
On Saturday 9th August it is Bonnyton FC fun day where all of the age groups are going to be there,we will probably have a few games against each other ,the 2005s and the 2003s so we need all the boys there if possible.

Summer soccer school at Bonnyton

There is a summer soccer school running at Bonnyton during the school holidays,leaflets and more information will be given out on Friday at training but the soccer school will start this Monday from 10-1pm,cost is £5 per day or £20 per week.

Training will be on from 4pm -5pm on Friday,to anyone away on holiday have a good one but remember we are training all the way through the holidays from 4-5pm

Coaches/Volunteers

As you all know myself,Speirsy,Stevie and Paul try to be at the training and games as often as possible whilst trying to juggle work,family and leisure commitments but it is not always possible for us to be there all the time,I also have to attend monthly meetings for Bonnyton and also league meetings as well as arranging fixtures.
If there are any volunteers out there willing to help out with the coaching for both teams I would love to hear from you,we don't need you there every week but as often as you can make it,please get in touch with me please.

Stewart and Carter Jenkins

As you may know one of our coaches(Stewart) and his son Carter have decided to leave us,Carter has decided his future lies at Crosshouse,we wish them all the best.

Training and Saturdays game

We will be training from 4 till 5 this Friday and will continue this right through the summer holidays(coaches permitting).
We are playing Dreghorn/Winlinton Wolves on Saturday at the Grange with a 9.30 ko,please be there 15 mins before kick off for a warm up and so we can pick the team.We will be in our white strips.
This is our last league game until August although we might arrange some friendlies through the summer.

Friday training-Saturdays game

Training will be on from 4-6 pm this Friday
On Saturday we are playing Tass Thistle at the Grange,they are only bringing one team as the other team are playing in the Crosshouse tournament ,therefore if the Bears(my team )can be there for 9.15 we will play them first and if the Colts can be there for 9.45 they can play them next,this will save both teams hanging about in the rain.Red and black strips please.
Next week we were down to play Crosshouse ,however they have informed me that they are playing in the Bellfield tournament ,I suggested we played the game on Tuesday night but they did not want to.
We may arrange a friendly for next sat and the following week 21stJune is our last league game v Dreghorn.
We are going to keep training right through the holidays and I understand some of you will be on holidays and doing other things however I would appreciate if the boys could come to training as often as they can during this period.Thanks, James

Robbie Muirhead

The young talented Kilmarnock FC striker Robbie Muirhead  visited the training yesterday ,he watched the boys going through a few of their drills before doing a question and answer session and then signing some items for the boys,he also took time to have some photos with the squad.thanks to Speirsy for arranging and Robbie for visiting us and a big thank you to the boys for their excellent behaviour whilst he was there.

Training and charity game

Hi folks,training will be on at the usual time of 4-5 next week,we have no game on Saturday ,however on Easter Sunday Siobhan Bolton(Luke's Mum) has asked if the boys would be interested in playing in a charity game in memory of her son James.She is trying to raise money for the learning support department at the college.
We hope to be kicking of at 11am and the boys could play for an hour or so it would leave the afternoon free to allow the boys to go and roll their eggs or they could stay and play at Knockentiber .

Hi Folks,I thought we were going to be invited to a football tournament down in Ayr this weekend however I spoke to the organiser this morning and he confirmed that there are no spaces left but would keep us in mind for the next one.

As you are aware we intend rotate the boys so that they can have a free week and therefore only have 9 players for each game,this will save chopping and changing every 3 minutes and give the boys a bit of continuity on the pitch.I was hoping to have all the fixtures so that I could put them on the blog and put a list of the boys week off however I don't have them all yet but I will post them as soon as I can.Can you please let me know tonight if there is a Saturday you would like to have off as I will not be changing the rota once it is done.I will post tomorrow night who is going to miss out this week and please remember every boy will be treated the same and will play the same amount of games as best as we can work it out.

Hi Folks,we have a friendly match this Saturday against Bonnyton 2003s at the St Joseph's School with a 9.30 kick off,we will be wearing our Red and Black Strips.
At the moment I know that Cameron Shanks,Cameron Strawhorn,Ryan Calder,Callum Semple and Liam Marshall are not available .Can you let me know if any of the other boys are unavailable as soon as you can please.
Would any of the boys in Stevie's team like to play in goals this weekend to help out as Cameron is away?Please let me know so he can organise his team.
I'm hopeful that the league will start on the 8th March and as soon as the fixtures are released we will work out the rota for the boys for the games between now and June so if there is a Saturday you can't manage please let me know.
Training is on at the usual time between 3 and 4pm on Friday.

League Fixtures

As you are aware our league fixtures are due to begin hopefully next Saturday. We are going to be playing our home fixtures at the St Joseph's School from 9.30 to 11.00,we will require the boys to be there at least 15 minutes before kick off so can you please adhere to this.
Our away fixtures kick off times could vary but it will be on a Saturday morning.

We currently have 22 players divided in to 2 teams with varying ages and ability,at the moment we will be keeping it that way instead of having an A team and a B team.If you have any reservations or questions you would like to ask the coaches feel free to speak to us.
At the moment if all the players turn up we have 4 players in each team sitting off  at the one time,we feel by chopping and changing every 5 minutes that the boys lose a bit of continuity and forget what positions they are playing so it is our intention to set up a rota whereby 2 boys from each team will sit out for a game meaning we only have 2 subs,this will give the boys more playing time and let them enjoy more time on the pitch.
As soon as the fixtures come out I will do a rota and let you know what dates the boys can have a free week,if you have something planned and cannot make a Saturday can you let me know by the end of the month and I will build it in to the rota.I hope this is satisfactory for everyone.
PS There are no fixtures arranged in the Easter Holidays 5,12 and 19th April

Training Friday 21st Feb

Hi Folks,first of all can I apologise for the late call off for training last Friday,as you all know the weather really deteriorated in the hour before training and I was unable to contact the other coaches for their opinion.
The forecast isn't looking too good for tomorrow either however training will be on unless you hear from me by 3 at the latest.
I know from my own son that when the boys arrive home from school frozen and soaking that the last thing they want to do is go back out in it for an hour ,however it is very important that they turn up for training,failure to do so will mean that they will not play on the Sunday unless they have a valid excuse.
Can I just also add a big well done to the boys for their performances at the Powerleague last Sunday,I thought they did really well considering that was their first time as a team playing there .

Training and Powerleague tourney

Training will be on at the usual time of 4-5pm tomorrow

The tournament at the Powerleague is on this Sunday,can I have the boys there for 12.30 prompt wearing their Red and Black strips,we may be off for a wee while between games so can you make sure they all have suitable clothing to keep warm,their is a bar where hot and cold drinks are sold.
The tournament should finish around 3.45-4.00 pm

General

Hi folks,training is on as normal tomorrow (Friday) 4-5 pm,it's to be a bit wet again so can you make sure the boys are prepared for cold and wet weather,they did very well last week considering the miserable night that it was.
We are playing in a tournament at Power League on Sunday Feb 16th at 1.00-4.00pm,I will let you know more details nearer the time.
Our new league fixtures will start on the first or second week in march hopefully ,we are now scheduled to play on a SATURDAY MORNING at 10.00am,the time could fluctuate a little bit but it will be a Saturday morning from March to June,I hope all the boys can make it ,the games will then resume in mid August till the end of October at the same time.

Training Sunday 12th January

There will be a training session on Sunday at Bonnyton for the boys between 12.45 and 2.00,please let me know if your boy is unable to attend.

Fees

If you have not paid your fees for December can you make a point of doing so before next Friday please and also this months fees are due on the 6th January.
We would prefer if you could set up a direct debit every month and that would save Louisa chasing people for money,the details are as follows
